the next day

sitting here staring at that blinkin' cursor
having nothing other than that buzzing
familiar as the chirping of Spring
anticipating the rusting of Fall
Super moon has come and gone
time to unstiffen carpal joints
click, clack; clickitty, clack

The brevity worked well here. This felt nostalgic, the pause between seasons, just existing as we notice the transitions of time and of our own lives. It also made me think of the possibility of everything we have yet to share, letting our mind unravel as we continue to process and write what we've been through. Whether that be an event or something more mundane. Loved the onomatopoeia at the end!
