Writing

Writing has often helped set me free.
While my thoughts expand like a branch on a tree.

Thousands of directions for thoughts to go.
Every branch I should surely know.

Yet thoughts that amaze me move about.
My imagination can be really quite stout.

From just one branch can a lifetime unfold.
You can shape the story till it turns to gold.

So, I write my story with hope in my heart.
That every branch written is a good start.

Then one day when it comes to an end.
My stories will have always been my friend.
