i'm still learning to love myself
growing older has taught me that i will always be my own side
i love my family and friends i really do
but everyone comes and goes
and that's just life..
all the years i've been on this earth,
i've always had myself
to comfort myself when i was down
or to laugh to myself when i saw something funny.
i've always had my own back, so why do i treat myself so harshly?
now, this poem is going to be about me
i am the star of the show...
beautiful brown hair and brown eyes
lovely tan skin and stretch marks that show how strong i really am
i went in a girl who went through a lot
and came out a woman who learned to not drop
learning to let go and love myself
had to have been the best thing i could've ever done.
