Night at Seea

The view from the deck of a ship at night,
Can be such a wondrous sight.

When the moon is full and no clouds can be found.
Water rushing past is the only sound.

Bright shiny stars canvas the sky.
Creating a mosaic most pleasing to the eye.

Like billions of diamonds they sparkle and gleam.
I am sure it's like nothing you have ever seen.

Hold your breath and be in awe.
Every stroke in place with nary a flaw.

The vastness of the Heavens is easily known.
True understanding once you have been shown.

So look to the stars to map your life.
You may, indeed, save yourself strife.
