Chasing Time:

by Scott Cole   Jan 8, 2024

Since the age of time
We've tracked it's pace,
That timeless Wonder
That bears not a face.

With clockwise hands
That nourish our minds,
As walls and wrist
Feed us the time.

With no limitations
It's easy to see,
Why that fast hand
Always breaks free.

It's a race to tame
Not a second to shun,
Lassoing those tic toks
Away from the Sun.

For time does fly
And there's some to kill,
If you let it get away
Or have it stand still.
