Starshine (acrostic)

by Kate   Feb 6, 2024

Securely tucked in their warm glow,
The frost in my chest begins to thaw.
An array of twinkling lights overhead
Reignites a spark of hope gone missing.
Shivers still linger along my fragile spine,
Hopelessness haunting my peripheral, but
I can hear their sweet whispers call to me.
Navigating me closer to their brilliant
Escape, to rest my soul amongst the stars.

It's always nice to read an acrostic! This was calming to read, with beautiful visuals.

This is beautiful. I love the softness to it, the elegance.
