Beneath the honeyed words that coats his lips
Lies venom seeping into every verse.
His whispers leave his mouth in cunning scripts,
Exuding every lie that he's rehearsed.

Deception swirls within his mocking eyes,
Compounding evil deeds that he commits.
His haunting gaze implores that he denies
Any truth behind his eyes that he omits.

Betrayal clings to ev'ry single breath,
Extingushing the hope that dares to burn.
Immorals lie within his heartless depths,
Bewitching any truth that we may learn.

Behind the cunning mask corruption creeps,
Eroding any honesty we seek.
