Northern Lights

by Synful   Feb 24, 2024

She is like the northern lights -
Fluidly extravagant amongst chaotic beauty;

Blues and greens dance like sprites
As they paint her heart amongst the moon and stars,
Lavishly flaunting an aura so pulchritudinous
That even a deity would weep with envy.

Purples and pinks serenade songs of her soul
While embracing the horizon with a touch so divine;
She is a goddess on display for mere mortals to behold
As her imperfectly perfect essence swirls and shines.

She inspires those of us upon the ground,
Her boldness illuminating the dark with ease
As her comfort surrounds
Those who wander and yearn to be free.

I, myself, am forever bound to her light
As if a moth to a forever burning flame,
Hoping to never lose her from my sight
For I will love and adore her until my dying day.
