Captivating art

I arrived and stood at the widened door
Sepia toned wall welcomed my arrival.
Series of framed faces plastered around.
And only one differ from the others.

Almond eyes and thin lip size.
Almost pale skin and faint smile.
Stands at a moderate height.
A mediocre, not a popular type.

We're two seats apart.
Yet it felt like were standing,
On the same wondering spot.
Both captivated of the art.

We both saw that much,
Amid the minimalism
We both whispered words,
With sense resounding.

A timid, less spoken soul,
Got me exchanging thoughts,
Of acrylic, canvas and pastel oils,
Of art and fleeting daydreams.

For a brief moment of clarity,
I saw beauty in every inch of him.
Every brush stroke of the art,
And especially his finger with a ring.

We both loved the same thing.
So my eyes only magnified what it wants
Only defining a specific part of the art
So it'll be alluding and captivating.

Except, I forgot to be greedy.
Regardless if how I ideal this maven be,
I'll bid no billions for this artistry.
The ring is priceless and so is my dignity.
