I haven't done much with my life,
But I'm grateful for all that I have.
God has blessed me with a loving wife,
And kids and grandkids who make me laugh.
I've never been rich or famous,
But I've never wanted for anything.
I have a roof over my head,
And food on the table, and love in my heart.
I'm grateful for every day that I wake up,
And for every opportunity that I'm given.
I'm grateful for the people who love me,
And for the life that I've been given.
I may not have done much with my life,
But I've lived a good life.
And I'm grateful for that.
