What's left when your dreams have gone
What's to give when you have given it all
Feeling all mixed up inside
Not knowing who you really are
Constant changes in you feelings and emotions
Feeling numb and the world is against you

Buried so deep that not even light can touch
Shinning so bright its like looking at the sun
Confusion and unorganised thoughts
Not knowing what's really real
Breaking your own heart
So no one else can

Looking for the impossible
Or so it seems
Sitting with your fears and insuritities
Hiding from the world
Because that's where
You kinda feel safe
Alone and lost
Wondering how to navigate the days
Feeding the demons
That you are trying to escape

Taking a pill to feel numb
Hoping that tomorrow
Will feel so different
Yet slowing wilting
And lingering on

Trying to see the light at the end of tunnel
Not knowing how this story will play out
Fighting an unknown battle
Who will win
No one knows
So I guess we'll let fate decide
