If I could paint a picture,
It would be of a beautiful life for us,
Bright blue sky with sunshine,
But a side for you with stars and moonshine.
A house at peace, where we would live,
A house full of love to give,
The sorrow of the past would blow away on the breeze,
And laughter would ring out through the trees.
A fence would surround to keep badness away
And swings and slides for the grandkids to play.
If i could paint you a picture,
This is the painting you would see.
