Sleeping in my arms

by Mark Hopwood   Mar 22, 2024

Loving you,
Is as natural as the sea,
My desire, to turn you to oceans,
My love, come and sail with me.

Making waves through your body,
Gently lapping against your smooth shore,
Becoming more intense, intensify,
Watch the doves rise high and soar.

Wave upon wave after wave comes crashing,
And thrashing, smashing hard against the rocky mass,
And I'm savouring every drop of your ocean,
This sea of love is so vast.

Your ocean settles and then relaxes,
After our World quivers and shakes,
And nature lays sleeping in my arms,
Until she opens her eyes and wakes.
