the RAIN

by Hafza Rubab   Apr 27, 2024

In the whisper of rain, a melody's born,
A symphony soft on the wings of the morn.
Each drop a dancer in the cosmic ballet,
Painting the earth in a shimmering display.

Silver tears cascade from the heavens high,
Weaving tales of sorrow, of love, and of sigh.
They kiss the earth with a gentle embrace,
Erasing the traces of time's fleeting chase.

The pitter-patter rhythm, a soothing song,
Guiding weary souls where they belong.
In the downpour's embrace, hearts find peace,
As troubles and burdens finally cease.

The world cloaked in mist, a mystical veil,
Where secrets are whispered in every detail.
The rain, a storyteller, of ancient lore,
Recounting tales of what came before.

In the rain's embrace, memories dance,
A waltz of joy, of sorrow, of romance.
Each droplet a story, each storm a tome,
In the tapestry of life, rain finds its home.

So let it rain, let it pour and descend,
For in its touch, all sorrows amend.
In the cadence of rain, we find release,
And in its beauty, our souls find peace.
