Summer falls,
But it’s autumn
That I thrive on;
Leaves of gold,
Red and amber hues;
The wind whispers,
A gentle chill;
Summer’s warmth,
Begin to cease;
Autumn arrives,
Like a majestic muse,
Daylight wanes,
And shadows ignite;
The leafless tress,
Stand tall against,
The autumn sky,
Embracing the breeze,
Embracing all;
A sight that fills,
A heart’s desire;
A reminder that,
Changes are constant,
And that life moves on,
As seasons dance,
In the eternal rhythm,
Of natures’s trance.
