Broken pieces

Broken Pieces
Shattered glass plastered upon the pavement
Pieces of me scattered on the ground
Losing you I lost me too
Fragments of a broken heart unfound

Much like a puzzle some parts are unfit
Piecing myself back whole again is uneasy
Some reminiscent memories I may share a smile
Then a small part of happiness without you is treason

Broken, shattered, crushed or splintered
They all feel the same
Pieces of this broken puzzle hard to match together
This is one unbearable game

As volcanoes hold built up pressure
In the end they ensue eruption
Harbored hurt fills this body too
In due time leaves in destruction

Bits and pieces of a broken heart
Un gathered beyond the eyes
Perfectly flawed and un aligned
Resembling the twinkling diamonds in the starlit sky

Delaying the inevitable pain I’m bound to feel
Knowing I was at fault of your demised ruin
The broken pieces that are placed before me
Is my own unfortunate doing
