Mothers were all little girls
And then they grew up to be adults
Then some fall in love and get married
And a baby was the result
A baby will bring joy
To the parent's hearts
And they become devoted
And showers the baby with love
From the very start
And they will do everything
To give that child a bright future
And guide that child with love and tenderness
And walk every road ahead together
To these mothers
I wish you a happy Mother’s Day
And may God or the unseen force
Send a lot of blessings your way
Then there are some mothers
Who gets pregnant by just messing around with men
And then they mistreat, neglect
And don't care about their children
A neglected child with no role model to follow
Could sometimes get lost in the world
In a home where love does not reside
Could ruin the lives of a little boy or girl
Children like these must follow their path
To lead their way
Some Walk on the road of no return
And some choose to set a better example
For their children one day
To mothers like these
I don't wish you a happy Mother’s Day
Call me selfish or mean or whatever you want
But if mothers neglect their children
Then why should we wish to bless their way
Today there are a lot of mothers
Who have children one after another
And it's not because they love children
It's so that they can live off the system
And then they just let their children
Run wild without caring what they do
Some would be kind and respectful
Some would be mean bullies hurting innocent children too
And they are wearing the latest style
With Gold, diamond, and bling bling
While texting on their expensive smartphone
And don’t care what their children are doing
To get free medical, food stamps, and cash and rent assistance
People today are having as many children as they can
And the hard-working tax-paying people are paying for it all
And if a taxpayer does fall on some hard times, they cannot get any help from the systems
To mothers like these
I have nothing to say
Except to keep living
off the government every day
Not because someone is a mother
This means they deserve a happy Mother’s Day
Some mothers would leave their children at home
And take the next man and run away
And leave their children to grow up with a stepmother
Some stepmothers are mean monsters
And mistreat their stepchildren
While treating their own with love
Then some stepmothers
Are truly wonderful human beings
They would love any child
And be the best mother that they can be
To these mothers
You are the sunlight of the world
You bring love and happiness
Too many innocent boys and girl
Then there are the mothers of the heart
The loving niece and aunts and sisters and friends
Those who do not have any children of their own
But they love every little child they see
And they shower them with love and joy
And gifts for every occasion and holiday and every chance they get
And just being mothers of the heart
To their nieces or nephews and every little child
To these mothers of the hearts
You make the life a joy
And you are great mothers
To every little girl and boy
And to my mother
