Winter Memories

by cassie hughes   Sep 8, 2024

Memories of winters past flow through the windows of my mind
Of angels crafted in the snow and kisses of the warming kind
The frosted air so crisp and fresh it almost hurts to breathe it in
And skating over icy water hand in hand we dance and spin
My heart is filled with love and joy as all these thoughts and more go by
Then of a sudden I recall that you are gone and start to cry
