Tear

by writer   Oct 13, 2024

The walls you were bringing down,
I keep seeing signs every now and then,
Not to trust anyone
Not to let anyone in.
So I'll drive these walls up again
Hide myself in my own self again.
Let no one in,
There's nothing that can save me.
But when no one comes in,
There'll be no one who'll hurt me.

I'll seek pleasures to forget
And evaporate every other thought that emerges.
We won't be one,
We won't be three,
I'm somebody
Who's been dying within.

I watched the film again:
I was indeed always the Geet.
No wonder this happened to me.

I only need you darling
And then I'll possibly be saved
