Awareness is not ours
we merely swim in it like a fish in a fish tank.
yet we are the observer as much as the observee
of this glorious aquarium.
Only the competence in swimming
is ours.
We are nothing but those who dive so deep
in the skin of oceans.
Searching for mercy
for that ocean might
grant us asylum by teaching us her deep
by whispering to us her dark desires
but most importantly
her heart of hearts.
