I CURSE, MY DEAR...I CURSE.

by Sabato John   Nov 18, 2024

I curse the system of Education,
I curse the system of Taxation, For.

I was fresh from school my dear,
Very strong and eager as a deer,
Ready to battle the street,
With no way of retreat.

Good to go play my cards, I was. Officially I wore a gear.
Street offered me too many ads, As it does. Ordinally I smit a spear.

Just like the songs of Lawino,
Ohh dear, I just said hell no,
For all my school-life was ripped,
And now my street-life is tipped.

I curse the poor system of education,
I curse the pitiable system of taxation,
For one gave me no time to heal,
With lots of knowledge, no skill.

Another gave me a reason to giveup,
With rising costs, I hence breakup,
Thus both systems favors me not,
By playing de songs of high note.

I wont exagerate,
Yes I am literate,
Yet I will tolerate,

For one to totally liberate,
And one to partially cut rates.
