Footsteps echo off
Trees illuminated by an ethereal glow,
A captivating combination -
Bound together in a beauty unprecedentedly so.
The moon and stars paint emerald leaves
With their ivory kisses and soft promises,
Wrapping a vast forest in velvet dreams
And chaos gently harnessed.
Obsidian skies tell tales of quiet splendor
While the babble of a river sings of forgotten memories;
A celestial magic so extravagantly tender
That one can mistake its existence for heavenly peace.
I count the stars above as I venture deeper within,
Loving and thanking each of them gently;
They shine and twinkle as fluidly as the voice of a violin,
Each night orchestrating a new devastatingly addictive melody.
The night sky captures this forest,
One bound in emerald and ivory,
She brightens a path to explore it
As a mind wanders throughout tentatively.
