Power Off

by Synful   Dec 8, 2024

Darkness cascades down a chilled window
As lantern light illuminates from within,
The moon and stars shadowing the glow
While heartbeats flutter in an emotional whirlwind.

The quiet click of a closing door
Echoes throughout a warmed room,
The following silence screaming the unsure
As ragged breathing threatens to consume.

Shaking fingertips glide over skin
While eyes are filled with soft questions,
As a mind begins to overthink
And the soul becomes restless.

A slow smile paints lips that haunt dreams
As a hand wraps around a heated neck
With a grip that tightens with love and need
To keep restrained carnal desires in check.

Whispered coachings seduce eager ears,
Praise and degradation blissfully melding
Into a symphony of beauty and endearment
As promises fall onto marked flesh.

Wrists roughly become bound by leather
While feathered kisses are used to taunt,
Whimpers beg for you to pull me under
And tell my mind to power off.
