The boy comes across as adventurous
As his father would push him from so young
To follow his footsteps was dangerous
Believing he never could be outdone
Struggling keeping up with expectations
Becoming harder as he turned a teen
When coming first was no celebration
Because a winner was not how he's seen
Though his father would demand improvement
And never praised him for what he achieved
But breaking down his sons every movement
Ignoring acclaim, he should have received
When just one careless word, may kindle strife
He would set up his son... to fail in life
