A thunderstorm wakes
Beneath cloudy skies

A breath that I hold
The clash of the heavens

Rain starts to fall
On a roof made of tin
Roaring it resonates
A rhythm begins

My mind is at ease
No lightning will strike
The thunder has paused
With sounds that I like

My senses relax
