Symphony of Nature

by Walter   Jan 20, 2025

A thunderstorm wakes
Beneath cloudy skies
The air feels so charged
Each flash a surprise

And then a slight pause
A breath that I hold
The clash of the heavens
A sound to behold

Rain starts to fall
On a roof made of tin
Roaring it resonates
A rhythm begins

My mind is at ease
No lightning will strike
The thunder has paused
With sounds that I like

A calming effect
My senses relax
When listening to nature
Play outro tracks
