Deceitful Sleep

Do we breathe while we sleep?
In the silent night's deep
We are lost in our dreams
Where the ethereal streams

Yet, in slumber solace and grace
Though dreams may deceive
And leave us to grieve

In darkness we weep
But do we weep when we sleep?

In the stillness of night
We embrace morning light
For in sleep, we find peace
As our worries release
