Love Passing By

by Walter   Feb 18, 2025

With moments that you cannot match
On a day that's not foreseen
Maybe just a glimpse you'll catch
That makes this un routine
Though time might still pass around
But your eyes are caught and freeze
It seems your heart already bound
In this second that you seize

A smile appears upon her face
That you can't help to reply
She seems to walk with such grace
Just as she's passing by
But panic now fills your heart
As it plays out in your mind
With both of us taking part
And will turn to look behind

With our feet becoming still
Our heart rates have increased
As if we climbed the highest hill
Where endorphins are released
Maybe we begin to pant
Are we struggling for some air?
Or is our expressions that we chant
All part of this affair?

We have nothing to confess
Nor anything that we hide
We're just two people more or less
Who now stand side by side
Maybe that's how love sways
To see through just like glass
Not sit around and wait for days
To just let these moments pass
