A Palestinian Song

by DavidPCarroll   Mar 14, 2025

In ancient Paleatine the olive trees sway
And the little children all sing in pain
And a song of hope to find the Lord's light
With echoes of happiness in life and
Whispers of pain just keep blowing
And our heart's are deeply in pain and

From the mountains in Ebal
To the to Jordan valley the
Palestinian flags will fly high
In Gaza and the West Bank they fly
And with courage so strong
Palestine's heart finds its way
Of resilience deep and courage bold and

Beneath the stars under Bethlehem
Tonight they twinkle so beautifully and bright
And echoes of Palestinian history
And stories little children they wrote
For freedom peace and and love in life and
This Palestinian song enduring through pain
Every night and its just another Palestinian child killed tonight and the media's
Twisted and telling lies yes
Little lies they twist so

Let this song be a memory
Of the Palestinians who suffered every day and
In the harmony of life and may love always resound
For in every heart this truth we will find
The spirit of a nation Palestine forever entwined.
