A Whisper Before Dawn

by Enrico Miguel Ulep Catolico   Mar 29, 2025

Not long after, the storm drew near,
shadows schemed behind my back.
The world had woven careful lies,
a path designed to make me crack.

Yet there she stood—silent, strong,
seeing truths I could not find.
A whisper turned the tide for me,
unraveled chains that left me blind.

Where others spoke with poisoned tongues,
she only held the truth with grace.
And in her eyes, I saw my fate—
love’s quiet shield, my sacred place.
