Even in the Rain

by Enrico Miguel Ulep Catolico   Mar 29, 2025

Through endless nights, she stood so still,
carrying burdens no one could see.
Her love, unbroken, held me close—
even as she lost pieces of herself for me.

I saw the cracks, the silent cries,
the weight she bore without retreat.
Yet through it all, she held on tight,
even when sorrow begged defeat.

I am sorry for the storms she braved,
for the nights she felt alone.
But I will stay until the sun returns,
until love finds the peace she’s known.
