Approaching the debris, this was not expected,
A large house beyond was more the right direction;
Approaching the gate, no guard at alert,
And no reason for the odd stride, no need to divert.
In front of the mansion, still the hitching posts,
When the time of revelation is of signposts;
So now we stand, facing a warrior of steadfast denied degradation,
A mountain that can hold time in cessation.
But humans can break the barrier,
To observe something of the interior;
Walking towards grandeur,
Only to be put out to pasture.
Only the thoughtful group, that took the longer trail,
Will see something worth the eternal inhale;
Avoid gods on the plains,
And remain.
