Dawn another new beginning
The moon in the sky playing a duet with the sun
Winter bites at my ears
Droplets at the end of my nose all frozen like
I attempt to communicate with my ‘God’
Prayer does not come naturally to this earthbound soul
Doubts burn a hole in my endeavour
Yet my motivation is pure, my purpose is to enrich my ‘being’
Nature stands all about my horizon
Stalk, leafless but not lifeless
The birds are home in anticipation of spring
Gobbling up seed pollinating as only they can
How I envy nature, always on track with purpose assured
Each specie designated a role
Bar the human specie
We must muddle on in “Gods image”
but we are no such matter
