Open the Gates

by Synful   Apr 12, 2025

A stolen soul
And a heart to match,
I have fallen
Into a beautiful trap.

Serpents and vines
Weave and wrap;
They kiss and they bite
Like death's loving grasp.

Touch me softly, Hades,
And watch my flowers bloom -
For poisons and venom taint
The garden I've grown.

I drink the darkness
And feast on Hell's fruit,
I thrive and flourish
Alongside the Underworld's roots.

Open the gates,
The queen has come home;
I stake my bloodied claim
And sit on my blackened throne.
