This Is How I See You

by Walter   Apr 17, 2025

The first day that I saw your face
Your natural smile would fit in place
A silhouette against the sky
I couldn't help but to reply

And conversation not delayed
Nor did our smiles began to fade
Who knew the paths that we'd both walk
Just starting out with small talk

Distance began to multiply
But we would never question why
Our new journey that we'd both share
Your feet now settled from the air

That vision I always have of you
And with passing time remaining true
Whenever you were not around
Towards the sky my eyes were bound

When true loves like a universe
An endless journey to traverse
A special place where you both meet
While neither standing on your feet

When a heart is filled with sparkling eyes
Our love will always be life-sized
Compared to infinite skies above
Burns like the passion of our love

And still my wish is always made
The sparkle in your eyes don't fade
First star of night which you reflect
Against the stars your silhouette
