Safeguard your beauty, not in the mask you wear, nor in the mirror's gaze that strips it bare. Do not entrust it to glass or gloss, where time will etch its silent loss. Safeguard it, love, in the eyes of your beloved, for only there does beauty bloom unmoved, unproved, but true. Only there does beauty last, and only there does it pass, does it pass, into forever.
