I can’t believe
that kindness matters
that heart can heal
that anyone truly cares
that wounds become wisdom
That memories don’t fade
that pain has purpose
that joy can stay
That love is worth the risk

Because
it’s foolish to think
love changes lives
that it’s more than just a word
that it’s real
that I am worthy of it
that I can be seen
that I can be known
That I can be loved
