Never Ending...

by Mandy   Jul 18, 2004

Staring at these padded walls
Something deep in the corner crawls
Just my useless imagination
Looking for a conversation
The dim softening light
From a movement so slight
Casts a shadow upon the wall
Near a corner in which I crawl
I escape the loneliness in my past
Memories stretched too thin to last
Living in a world that I'm creating
Leaving behind everything devastating
Unconvincingly just pretending
Wishing sanity was never ending.
