Ones that make you laugh, some that make you cry.
Some to you have to say goodbye.
People lie yes friends come and go.
Memories fade and disappear yes I know.
But there are some things a heart can never forget.
Like the angel I loved for so long.
The angel that is now gone.
Things happen and people change.
One thing though will always remain the same.
I will never forget my first true love.
The love I swore was sent from above.
So sweet and kind in every way...
If I could bring him back down to earth I would let him stay.
Because you see he was my angel.
My angel awaiting his fate.
God took him home...after so long.
He'd forgotten how to fly.
Didn't want to let go of this sad life.
But he had to leave...
God had said it was his time.
He begged me to always. Remember everything we shared.
As I watched through tears..watched as his body went limp..his heart stop beating...and his angelic life slowly disappear.
