Tonight

by ariyanna   Jul 18, 2004

As my tears salt my pillow once again, I think of how I wish it could be real because I hate to pretend

I sigh in sorrow of the thought of what tomorrow will bring. Will the night make a difference or will I feel the same thing?

will the emptiness take a toll on me? will I be bound by your love or will I finally be free?

but I can't worry about what's not in my sight. but tonight, I'll just cry and let my pillow hold my cries.

I don't want to see your face for fear of regretting looking into your eyes. If you keep your silence long enough, you'll hear the pain behind my sighs.

I can't imagine having noone else but you in my life For tonight I'll just smile and fool you for awhile, yes I'll laugh till I cry to make you think that it's alright, for tonight I'll just smile and let my pillow console me tonight.
