The Beauty That Lies Within.

by Marta   Jul 19, 2004

Every time I look into that mirror
So many questions run through my mind
Not sure of what to think
I'm a monster of every kind.

It's hard to think good things
About everything I see
It'd be hard for you too
Not knowing what I'll ever be.

I wonder why I was made like this
It's just not fair to go through such pain
To live like this every single day
Over and over again.

But soon I'll find the good reasons
Of why it itched under my skin
Some day I'll definetly find
The beauty that lies within'.

This poem is so beautiful! I wish more people cared about inner beauty. It's sad how people call you a loser if you're ugly, fat, etc. The truth is, they are the real losers, and the only times they feel good about themselves is when they put other people down. I truly believe everyone is beautful in their own way. Keep up the great work!
