No one's who i'd be

by Amanda Sloan   Jul 20, 2004

No one's who I'd be
if you weren't here with me
Empty is what I'd feel if your love for me was not real
I would hear naught if you're voice didn't call for me
No dream would ever transpire
If your heart held no fire for me
My world would be utter chaos if you didn't sweep me up after I'd fallen
Never would i wake if all of this was fake for all my mornings would be a quake
Anything that meant a thing would fall quickly from my sight, of you weren't there to capture mind
My life it would fall like a star from the sky if you weren't there, always to be mine
My tears wouldn't cease if you weren't here comforting me
A smile would be a gesture unknown to me if you had never walked my way
My heart would melt away if there was no loving light in your eyes for me
I wouldn't float on this cloud in this surreal world, if this love wasn't real
All these things and so much more would be my reality if you hadn't found me
And my dilemma now is that you've gone without me
