You are my inspiration
For all that I do
You taught me to love

You taught me to be strong
Stand up for what is right
Said it was ok to fail
And then held me tight

I was down with gloom
And you brightened my day
With your smile and laughter
I hope you never go away

I don't see you now
And that makes me sad
You are not here for me
When I am so mad

I still talk to you
Each and everyday
You still teach me things
But you have gone away

Your touch that helped me heal
Your love that let me be
Will never again be here
To help me find me

But now that you are gone
My inspiration is now too
