A Pocketful of Stars

by StarGirl   Jul 21, 2004

A Pocketful of stars won't by me your love.
But I'll pray ten thousand times to the gods above.
Like me like you like her.
Look at me in that same way.
Let me lay in your arms where I want to stay.
But a pocketful of stars isn't as easy as one, two and three.
It doesn't pass you by as soon as the dawn's cool breeze.
It's there tho.
For every glimpse that our eyes meet
and every smile that you send my way.
Is a star in my pocket.

Tons of emotion in this poem. I absolutely loved the way you worded everything. The flow was good, the word usage was great, and the concept was spectacular. 5/5 for sure!
