In Love With a Friend

by *~Criztal~*   Jul 21, 2004

I have to face it,
I'm in love.
I'm in love with a friend,
In love with a pal.
But I have to hide it well,
He mustn't know a thing.
He must never know the true me,
The feelings deep inside.
But how can I continue to hide it?
I try to make an advance,
Little by little, here and there.
But hopefully, he never gets the full picture.
He will never know how much he really means to me.
He must never know how my knee's weaken,
At the very sound of his voice and the touch of his hand.
He must never see the pink in my cheeks when he smiles.
So I will hold it all inside.
Keep it a deep dark secret.
Until I see the sign,
The sign of his feelings, feelings for me.
That is when it will all come out.
Everything will be known.
