Over and over in my head,
Everything's still fresh on my mind.
But I couldn't let it go,
I believed we were meant to be.
You told me everything I wanted to hear,
Made me believe I was special.

Even if you did,
The distance tore us apart.
I refuse to blame myself for everything caused.
