Today I saw an angel when I looked into your eyes,
today I saw an angel right from paradise,
I saw the peace and caring, shining deep within,
I know it was your love dear, not just a silly whim,
each time I hear a love song, I see your smiling face,
when I hear a dove coo, my heart begins to race,
I hear those harps playing a love song far away,
they are telling me, my heart is yours forever and a day,
when you see a rainbow, look in the pot of gold,
it is there you will find, the greatest love story ever told,
for it is a story written by god above,
yes it is a story all about our love,
if you travel this world over, you will never find,
a more perfect love, than this love of yours and mine,
then I told this angel, my love for you is true,
she told me that she would go and take my love to you,
when you see this angel, you'll know she is from me,
take the love she gives to you, keep it for eternity.
