I miss you

by kirsty   Jul 22, 2004

If you have a grandma treasure her with care
for you never know her value
till you see her vacant chair
no farewells were spoken
we never said goodbye
you were gone before i knew
and only god knows why
as time goes on without you
as days turn into years
they hold a million memories
and a thousand silent tears

no words were ever written
no smile could ever hide
those heartaches and emptiness
thats hidden deep inside
somewhere beyond the sunset
where loved ones never die
you rest in a peaceful garden
beneath gods golden sky

for my great grandma. RIP
