Thanks to everyone for commenting! Your support and the fact that you have taken time out of your busy days to do so means so much to me. No to everyone out there this story didn't happen to me I actually was reading a book on the topic and it did happen to a young woman a few years ago and today she cannot speak - it really touched my heart and i felt like i was there with her reading her story and thats where i got the inspiration for this poem Im glad you all enjoyed reading it even if it was a tear jerker i guess it really made me appreciate what i do have today and to stop taking simple things like my power of free speech for granted...Anyways thanks once more and keep checking out my work :o) Luv ya all Eirisa xxoo

But the way you expressed yourself in that poem was amazing! Intense.. I have read every single comment you have recieved, there is not much i can add.
One of my best friends has had to experiance this and i wish everyday i had the ability to understand. alas i cannot and will never truly be able to understand her pain. But thankyou this has helped me a great deal you are extremely talented.
Pity is the last thing wanted, pity is the last thing needed.

I just hope that in a way this poem can bright some sort of peace to rape victims...this is based on a true story and this girl is a fighter she lost teh ability to talk and i think often we take simple things like our voices and the fact that we are evn simply still breathing and able for granted - Much Love to ya all xoxo Risa
