PITCHING WOO

PITCHING WOO

Once I had a sweetheart,
I took her for a ride,
I was so very proud,
to have her by my side,
we drove around the city,
for an hour or two,
then we went to lovers lane,
just to pitch some woo,
we sat there a kissing,
our woo was going strong,
she started in to hissing,
cause a copper came along,
he took one look at us,
and he got so mad,
my sweetie was a squirming,
cause the copper was her dad,
he gave me just five minutes,
to turn my car around,
he fell in behind me,
and followed us to town,
I started in to thinking,
for my very life,
now you know the story,
of how I got my wife.
