Left in Despair

by Deaths Maiden   Jul 23, 2004

The day you died, was the day I cried,
Not knowing what to do because I miss you.

I’ll never be the same again,
Knowing I won’t be able to comprehend why you died.

I will remember the great times we had together,
Your spirit will be alive forever deep inside me.

Your love kept me strong,
But I knew your strength wouldn’t last long the day you left me.

What can I do? What can I say?
To make this pain in my heart go away.

I know I must put the past behind me,
But still I’ll remember thee.

I know I got to let you go,
Got to be strong now its time to move on.

Together, forever you’ll be by my side,
No need to run, there will be no reason to hide.

You were everything my very soul,
You shared to me things that had never been told.

You were my hope and inspiration,
You gave me trust and motivation.

You taught me to have confidence, told me to have a little self-esteem,
Taught me to believe in myself, taught me to follow my dream.

I’ll never forget the day I met thee,
You held me close, said you’ll always love me.

Just knowing you was a dream come true,
In my heart…I’ll never forget you.
